It takes a lot of courage and maturity to consider this option and you are NOT a bad person for considering an adoption plan. You are providing your baby a chance at life and also giving you the opportunity to continue on with future goals and plans.
- The birth mother can have peace of mind knowing her baby has been placed in a home with parents of her choice
- The birth mother can choose to have an OPEN ADOPTION: involves sharing identifying information, meeting the couple and having future contact through letters and pictures

So you want to keep the baby?
Though parenting can be challenging it has its rewards! We can help you in preparing for the new bundle of joy by providing:
- Referrals to community, social, medical, legal, housing and financial agencies
- The CPC also provides a parent education program: Earn While You Learn (EWYL).
